POMCO GROUP PRESENTS JAZZ IN THE CITY The "Jazz in the City" Neighborhood Outreach Concert Series continues in August featuring national and local jazz artists. Also talented students recruited from the Syracuse City Schools are given the opportunity to perform onstage with these professionals at some of the concerts. POMCO Group Presents Jazz in the City this year will have 4 concerts in each quadrant of Syracuse. We are happy to welcome back to Syracuse the #1 Smooth Jazz Saxophonist, Jackiem Joyner! Jackiem graduated in 1999 from G.W. Fowler High School. The City of Syracuse will honor him with a proclamation for “Jackiem Joyner Day” on August 5th at the first concert. Jackiem will sit in with both groups and then come back on August 12 with his entire band to play in concert.
