The unparalleled success of last year’s BHM event, which sold out the 400-seat Drumlins space, demanded that we bring Syracuse’s greatest expatriate smooth jazz master Jackiem Joyner back for a reprise performance – but we couldn’t stop there. We’ve paired him with the explosive talent of Selina Albright – yes, she is the progeny of the great Gerald Albright. She’s toured with everyone, including Jeff Lorber, George Duke, Joe Sample, David Benoit, Marcus Miller, Dave Koz, David Sanborn, Hugh Masakela, and the Temptations. This year, requested dress will be “sparkly” at this gala.
